1953 - Car # 17 - Ray Neeley's Allard flanked by two MG TDs at Alice Springs - NT- stopover.The Allard had a Mercury V8 engine and was placed 92nd. in the trial.
1953 - The Alice Springs - Northern Territory stopover.
1953 - Car # 6 - Ford Customline of Bill MacLachlan, Marie Higgs & Malcolm McKay, finished in 48th place - Bill & Marie competed in all three REDeX trials.
1953 - Car 83 - Class winning Morris Minor of Frank Kleinig and Clive Gibson. Frank and Clive both very famous names in Aussie Motor Sport won their class even after crashing south of Alice Springs, injuring Clive.
1953 - Car # 84 - the Austin A40 od Aubrey Melrose, Harry Murray & John Van-Lieven from Western Australia. Melrose was a well known racing personality in W.A. The Porsche in the background was driven by Norm Hamilton & Ken Harper. The Porsche finished 92nd & the A40 50th. Ken Harper went on the compete in another seven 'Round Australia trials.
1954 - Car # 28 is the Ford Customline of Bill Mayne, Ron Tozer & William Jewell at Townsville - Qld.
1954 - Car # 52, the Vanguard Spacemaster of Bruce Walker & Reg Hall from Windsor - NSW - at the Start - The Sydney Showground. These two trial's unknowns finished an amazing 7th. outright in the 1954 REDeX.
1954 - Car 159 is the Ford Customline of Martin Arentz, Ray Davie & Sid Cresswell. Ray Davie from Maitland NSW, could not find a ride in the REDeX so he stood at the Scutineering entrance and asked each crew if they needed a photographer and Martin took up the offer. Davie rode with Arentz in another four Round Australia trials.
1954 - Sydney Showground - at the Start line - Car # 14 the Ford Custom of Major Warwick, Joe Little & Ralph Pickford. While this Ford did not finish the trial, the driver, Major Warwick would win his class in the 1955 REDeX in a Skoda.
1953 - Car # 76 1946 Ford V8 of 'Bomber' Moxham, 'Butch' Buckley & Bill Phillips. These three young lads from Mullengudgery wanted to see the country so they borrowed 'Bombers Father's Ford while he was overseas and entered the trial. The car finished the trial but was unplaced.

1953 - The Plymouth of Peter Antill, George Reed and Max Winkless at the Alice Springs stop over. Note the unique bonnet lock on the Plymouth. This crew were 3rd outright.
