Dick Cobden was the first to race this BRG V12 1.5 ltr. Ferrari out here in Australia.
Don Gibson in his black 1938 Dodge. The car at one period named 10 BOB. Don put a /- after the # 10 which signifed 10 shillings in the pre decimal currency of the day. Track looks like MT Druitt.

Frank re built the C-type from a wreck.

The John Harvey Brabham at Bathurst. John had taken his Speedway number # 76 across to this road car.

# 87 the Frank Matich Elfin.
Matich chief spanner man, Bruce Richardson wipes the dust off the Elfin. ( I worked with Bruce for several years, at Leaton's and with Frank..Brian)
David McKay at Hell Corner at Bathurst( the first corner after the start) in the later model red DB3S Aston Martin Sports. They were the days when spectators could stand just about right at the apex of the corner.

The final photo in this great collection..that of veteran racer Tom Sulman's Lotus Eleven # 99. Tom lost his life in this car at the last hump on Con Rod Straight at Bathurst in 1970.
